24h Ad Challenge
I took part in the M&C Saatchi 24 hour challenge on the weekend of 2nd November with fellow CSM graduate, Sam Pilling. We got short-listed. The judges were Alan Yentob, Peter Saville, Patrick Burgoyne, Sophie Fiennes and Graham Fink.
Please bear this in mind: the brief was effectively asking for a brand film to be played before all ICA cinema screenings. When you go to a cinema, often you have paid for a seat, and there are complete strangers sitting around you. Everyone is therefore quiet, and anticipating the screening of the film. In a cinema, there is only a large screen to focus on, no off button, it’s a waste and a nuisance to leave, and there is definitely definitely no progress bar or scrubber. Now, with that in mind, please view our entry in full screen mode with no distractions.
