City & Art Istanbul, March 2009
Students from Central Saint Martins travelled to Istanbul to take part in the City & Art project with students from Mimar Sinan.
They created interactive exhibits/installations or staged a performance for the area of Istanbul they were given to study.
This documentary was filmed and edited in 8 days to coincide with the exhibition at Museum of Modern Art in Istanbul.
City & Art London, April 2009
Students from Mimar Sinan travelled to London, to take part in the City & Art project with students from Central Saint Martins and London Metropolitan.
They created installations for Bishops Square, Liverpool Street, that explore the daily rituals that we undertake at the start of the day, whether consciously or subconsciously.
Here is an excerpt from the documentary where we join the groups in their final stages of their projects.
